10 Laptops That Will Be Able to Run Windows 11 in 2022
With the release of Windows 10 in 2015, Microsoft ushered in a new era of personal computer operating systems. As impressive as Windows 10 was, we can expect an even better OS from Microsoft in 2022 with Windows 11. This is why it’s important to make sure that you get a laptop with an operating system that will be able to run Windows 11 as soon as it’s released so you can upgrade without having to buy a whole new machine. Here are ten laptops that will be able to run Windows 11 in 2022 and beyond!
1) Acer Swift 7
The ultra-light Acer Swift 7 has slim and sleek lines, with a display that can go up to a crazy-high 4K resolution. Plus, it’s only 2.5 pounds! The only problem is that right now it only runs Windows 10. However, once you upgrade your laptop in four years, it should be able to handle any game you throw at it! This little baby will run circles around most of its competitors in terms of performance. If you want a lightweight machine that’ll last you for several years (and even then keep on running), then we’d recommend getting one of these bad boys. You might even see another model released sometime soon as well, so if there are other features you’re looking for (like more storage space or RAM), keep an eye out for those updates! With fast processors and quick graphics cards, they’ll make sure your gaming experience is smooth and easy. You’ll never have to worry about lag again—unless it’s caused by all those enemies chasing after you!
2) Lenovo Miix 720
The Miix 720 is a 2-in-1 convertible with 13.3 inch display and weighs 1.98 pounds. It has Intel’s eighth generation Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD and dedicated graphics. The Miix 720 can be used as a tablet or laptop depending on what you need, with stand or without, thanks to its hinge design that lets you flip it over so you can use it like a tent or hold it at an angle for typing purposes. The Miix 720 isn’t meant for gaming but will play most Windows 10 games. At $1200 it isn’t cheap but does have great build quality and features for those who want something more powerful than your average laptop
3) HP Envy x2
The Envy x2 is a clever, versatile laptop with a detachable display that makes it easy to do work on-the-go. A smooth, high-res touchscreen lets you use your apps and play games with ease; when you’re done working or gaming, just pull out of its magnetic dock and convert it into a tablet that you can hold up for reading ebooks or watching movies. With 8GB of RAM and an i5 processor, it’s well-equipped for most tasks. The battery life is great—you can get more than 10 hours on a single charge—and overall its one of my favorite laptops right now.
4) Asus NovaGo
This is definitely one of Asus’s more interesting releases over the past few years. The device is a laptop with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which makes it just as powerful as some premium laptops that cost thousands of dollars more. And while its specs are comparable to most other laptops on sale right now, its 13-inch Full HD display and 64GB SSD drive give it an edge over similarly priced competitors. At $599 for 128GB and $799 for 256GB, you can also bet that your wallet will be happy about how much you save by choosing Asus’s NovaGo instead of a new Surface Pro or Macbook. But don’t let any of these comparisons fool you—the NovaGo is still an amazing deal.
5) Samsung Galaxy Book2
The second-generation Samsung Galaxy Book (Samsung is expected to drop Book from its branding with model number SM-W700) is said to be a 2-in-1 tablet device running Windows 10. The device will feature an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It should have a 12.3-inch Super AMOLED display at 2160×1440 resolution with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 7th generation dual core CPU, 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera. Google Pixel Slate: The Pixel Slate will have a 12.3 inch LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC chipset, 4GB of RAM and 32 or 128 GB storage.
6) Surface Pro6
The Surface Pro 6 will run Windows 1o out of the box when it arrives early next year. It has a slim design, but packs all of Microsoft’s latest tech, including a Kaby Lake processor, 8GB of RAM and solid-state storage. The screen is a 12.3-inch touchscreen that offers excellent color reproduction and touch sensitivity. Battery life tops eight hours on a single charge. If you’re looking for something lighter and more portable than your desktop PC, this is it. Also Available for MacOs & Android tablet users through Microsoft App store.
7) New MacBook Pro 2018
The new MacBook Pro looks almost exactly like its predecessor, but there are some pretty major changes inside. Apple added Intel’s latest processors and made major upgrades to internal components like storage, RAM, and battery life. The laptop also comes with a gorgeous new display and a revamped keyboard that’s twice as fast as before. There are a few drawbacks (it doesn’t have many ports), but overall it remains one of our favorite laptops—particularly if you want something powerful and portable. And don’t forget that Apple has just updated its lineup with Intel’s latest 8th-generation processors…for even better performance at similar prices! It’s definitely worth considering if you’re shopping for a premium machine. Read our review here: Apple MacBook Pro Review (2018)
8) Dell XPS 13 9380
The Huawei MateBook X Pro was released just a few weeks ago and has a beautiful design. Although it’s mostly made of aluminum, it comes with an ultra-thin screen bezel that makes its overall appearance sleeker than most of its competition. The MateBook X Pro also comes with a fingerprint sensor and facial recognition technology so you can easily log into your computer and features an Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD hard drive. It has great battery life too, which is important if you plan on traveling often. Like most other laptops on our list, it will likely be able to run Windows 11 just fine by 2022.
9) Huawei MateBook X Pro
The Microsoft Surface Go takes everything we loved about our favorite tablet, and adds a keyboard. Weighing in at just 1.15 pounds and with an impressive battery life, it’s versatile enough for either work or play. The Surface Go may be small but that doesn’t mean it sacrifices power—the new tablet packs a quad-core Intel Pentium Gold processor capable of running Windows 10 Pro along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. The sleek machine has all your favorite features, like USB 3.1 ports, Bluetooth 4.1 and of course, detachable keyboards for typing on the go.
10) Microsoft Surface Go
Currently, not a lot of laptops can run Windows 11. The new Microsoft Surface Go is one of them. With its Intel Atom X5-Z8350 processor and 4GB of RAM, it’s a capable machine that runs smooth and doesn’t slow down even when you have more than 20 tabs open. Also, it only weighs 1.15 lbs so you can easily carry it around with you wherever you go! Its 2-in-1 feature means that it also comes with a touch screen display (with 10 point touch support), giving you even more flexibility when using your laptop. If you’re looking for a laptop that can still be used by 2019 or 2020, then get yourself a Microsoft Surface Go. You won’t regret it!
